Wedding Cakes
Some things to think about:
How many tiers do you want? Three-tiered cakes are classic and festive. Two-tiered cakes are also festive, but slightly more informal - great for smaller affairs. And non-tiered cakes can be just as celebratory, especially when they're topped with flowers or there is a collection of them in various heights, widths and styles. (*At this time, we do not do more than three tiers.)
How many servings will you need? Specializing in small to moderate size cakes as we do, our largest tiered cakes feed a little more than a hundred guests. That can easily be supplemented with additional cake(s) to provide the right amount of servings to allow cake for everyone at your event.
What silhouette do you like best for your cake? We offer three main styles for our tiered cakes: classic (just as it sounds), modern (the tiers are more gradually different in size), and old fashioned. See examples of each in photos below.
What frosting style do you like? Naked? Nearly naked? Smooth and classic? Horizontal texture? Freehand texture? See examples in photos.
And then, there's cake, filling, and frosting flavor.... Vanilla? Chocolate? Lemon? Or something else entirely? There are options, which we can go over together. As your cake is baked just a day before your big day, you've got time to make that decision. And we're happy to help with suggestions about our most-loved flavor combinations.
Not crazy about cake? We're seeing many couples opting for smaller cutting cakes, just for the ceremony of it, and going with other sweets to make up the dessert course of the meal. There's nothing wrong with a simple small cake - we can make it just as elegant and celebratory as a tiered affair. And we're happy to work with you on other dessert options. We also offer a cinnamon bun cake!

In addition to cakes, we can also come up with a variety of small-bite sweets. Another level of service that we offer is rental from our collection of cake stands and platters, as well as full dessert-table set-up. (Client provided menu boards.)
