Our little bakery is growing and we need more help! Now in search of bright, driven, friendly, *outstanding* individuals who would like to be a part of something really special.
We're a small bakery/kitchen, making everything from scratch in small batches. Here, we're all a part of the work that happens in-front-of and behind the scenes; we all answer the phone and help customers, we all have our roles in baking the fresh goods we do every day, we all clean dishes and sweep floors. Currently, our positions are all part-time, and the openings right now are for entry-level positions - ideal for current or newly-graduated students (culinary or other) or those looking to flex their baking muscles part-time alongside another gig.
Front of House - Part time. 8-20 hours/week. Ideal front-of-house applicant is outgoing and enjoys working with people, has a naturally pleasant demeanor, and is both friendly and professional. Must be punctual and reliable. Ideally, we're looking for someone who would like to stay with us for a while, and possibly transition from this position into a junior baking position. Must be available for a consistent, set schedule.
Moring Baker (Entry-level) - Part time. Two or all three: Thursday mornings, Friday mornings, Saturday mornings. 8-20 hours/week. Ideal morning baker is a morning person! Must be trustworthy, reliable, and self-driven. Some experience with pastry and breads is helpful, but willing to train the right individual. Hours for this position are not yet completely determined: start between 6-7am, end could be as early as 10am, as late as 2pm.
